Dublin Dance Festival is the leading dance event on the Irish arts calendar. The Festival brings together dance artists and choreographers from across the world to share vibrant contemporary dance with audiences in Ireland.
Dublin Dance Festival is Ireland’s only international festival of contemporary dance, sharing inspirational contemporary dance with audiences in Ireland each May.
Since its inauguration in 2002, Dublin Dance Festival has presented the most influential dance companies, choreographers and artists from all over the world, and has showcased established and emerging Irish dance artists. Its audiences are growing steadily and the Festival is a major focal point in Ireland’s cultural calendar.
The current Director is Benjamin Perchet. The Festival is funded by The Arts Council of Ireland/ An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Dublin City Council.
